An Xbox Series X|S HDMI port repair is for a console that powers on but gives you nothing on screen: "no signal" on the TV, a picture that flickers or cuts out, or a port that's loose or damaged. The HDMI port takes a lot of strain. A cable caught on a foot, a console pulled forward on a shelf, or a Series X that topples over from standing upright can crack the port's solder joints or bend its pins.
Before booking, it's worth ruling out the simple causes: the TV input, the cable and the console's display settings. My guide to an Xbox with no signal, below, covers those free checks. If they don't help, and especially if the port is loose or the picture changes when you touch the cable, the port is the likely fault.
I remove the damaged port and solder a new one in its place, check the joints under magnification, then test the picture and sound. Once it's back together, I test the console for an hour running a demanding game before it's posted back. The £75 includes parts and tracked return postage, and the work is covered by a 12-month warranty.
This repair is for the Xbox Series X and Series S. Behind the port is a chip that processes the HDMI signal. If that chip has failed rather than the port, I don't replace it, so it's no fix, no fee: I refund what you paid, less return postage. If the board's pads or tracks under the port are damaged, I'll quote before doing any work.
