Free controller tools
Free tools I've built for checking your kit before you pay for a repair. They run in your browser, and nothing you test leaves your device.
Controller tester
Test every button, trigger and stick on your PS5 or Xbox controller, with a plain-English verdict on any drift.
Open the controller tester →Stick drift test
A guided drift check: three quick tests per stick, the range, and what to do if it's drifting.

Most people who send me a controller want to know one thing first: is it actually broken? These tools answer that before you spend anything. If it does need a repair, you'll know exactly what's wrong before you book.
