PS5 Controller Charging Port Repair
No fix, no fee · 12-month warranty · Insured, tracked returns
Signs you need this repair
- Won't charge when plugged in
- Only charges with the cable held at an angle
- Cable feels loose or drops out
- Charging light flickers on and off
- Port looks bent or damaged
A PS5 controller that won't charge, or only charges when the cable is held just so, usually has a worn or damaged USB-C port. The port takes the strain every time the controller is picked up or put down while it's plugged in. Over time the connection works loose, and eventually it stops making contact altogether.
A PS5 controller charging port repair replaces the USB-C port with a new one, soldered in properly on the bench under magnification. I then test charging, the wired connection and the full controller before it's posted back. The repair is £29 all-in, including parts and tracked return postage.
Not every charging fault is the port. A worn-out battery can look very similar, and I check which it is when your controller arrives. If it turns out to be the battery rather than the port, I'll tell you before doing any work. The PS5 controller battery replacement is the same £29.
Every repair is covered by a no-fix-no-fee promise and a 12-month warranty. DualSense controllers are small and light to post, and a £29 repair is a fraction of the cost of a new controller.
