When a Switch 2 won't turn on, the fault is often in the power circuit rather than the battery or screen. It can be the charging side of the board, a failed chip, or damage from liquid or an unsuitable charger. Finding it takes testing on the board, which is why this starts with an assessment.
Check these first. Charge it for 30 minutes on the official charger. Try another cable and charger. Try a hard reset by holding POWER for about 12 seconds, then pressing it again. If it turns on but won't start properly, try Maintenance Mode by holding both volume buttons and pressing POWER. My guide to Switch 2 not charging has more to try.
Warranty first. If your Switch 2 is under Nintendo's warranty and hasn't been dropped or got wet, go to Nintendo first. Liquid damage and knocks are accidental damage, and those, along with out-of-warranty faults, are what this service is for.
How it works. You pay a £4.99 assessment and post the console. I find the fault and send you a quote. You decide whether to go ahead before I do any work. If you do, the £4.99 comes off the repair price. If you decline, or it can't be repaired, the £4.99 isn't refunded and I send the console back. If the fault turns out to be the port, the charging port repair is what I'll quote for.
Your save data. The storage is soldered to the board, so your saves are on the board I'm working on. If the console still turns on at all, back up with Save Data Cloud first where the game supports it. If it's already dead, saves that were in Save Data Cloud are still there. My save data guide explains what's covered.
